Pattern of Examination:-

(a) Online Test

Penalty for Wrong Answers - For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at the corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

(b) Interview: The applicants who are successful in the online test will be called for a personal interview. During the interview, the candidates will have the option to answer the questions in Hindi or English. The interview will consist of 100 marks & Candidates will need to score minimum qualifying marks in PI, which shall not be less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) in the interview to be considered for final selection.

(c) Medical Fitness: The final offer of employment would be issued to candidates who are found to be medically fit as per Bank’s Medical Fitness Standards.

Terms of Appointment & Posting:- The Initial appointment will be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining and will be ordinarily confirmed w.e.f. the succeeding quarter on completion of the first year of appointment. Confirmation would be subject to the extant policies of the Bank as amended from time to time. ENGAGEMENT SCHEDULE IS AS UNDER:

• In the single handed BOs, BPMs have the overall responsibility of smooth and timely functioning of Branch Post Office including mail conveyance and mail delivery.
• In the BOs other than single-handed, the BPMs may be assisted by ABPM. However, BPM will be required to do combined duties of ABPMs as and when ordered. Any other work can also be assigned by superiors like IPO/ASPO/SPOs/SSPOs etc.
• ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (FOR ALL POST) :

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

• Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• The applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system generated merit list.
• The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks (as explained in sub paras- iii to ix below) in Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory.
• For applicants where their Secondary School Examination of 10th standard mark sheet have marks or marks and Grade/Points both, only their total marks will be worked out by taking into account the marks obtained in all compulsory and elective/optional subjects (other than extra subjects, if any). This will ensure that applicant with higher marks get selected.

Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with at least 60% marks and should have passed Matriculation examination with Marathi as one of the subject. Candidates who have passed JAIIB/CAIIB will be preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in Banking field preferably in Urban/ DCC Bank as an Officer. Officer for the purpose shall be taken as the first level of Officer Cadre where officer level exist or the second level of cadre where Clerk level does not exist.

Age Limit: Minimum 23 years and Maximum 32 years as on 31.08.2023, Candidates should have been born not earlier than 31.08.1991.

Emoluments: Trainee Junior Officers will be paid a Stipend of Rs.30,000/- per month during the Training period. After successful completion of the training period, the Trainee Junior Officer will be placed in the Bank’s regular grade and will be paid total emoluments of about Rs.49,000/- per month. The training period of Trainee Junior Officers shall be 12 months followed by probation period of 06 months. Post completion of training period the Trainee Junior Officers shall be assessed for work performance, confidential report, attendance records, etc. Only on satisfactory performance the candidate shall be placed on probation for 06 months and thereafter confirmation in the services of the Bank shall be based on the overall assessment of the Trainee Junior Officer during the training and the probation period.

2. TRAINEE CLERKS – No of vacancies – 107

Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with at least 60% marks and should have passed Matriculation examination with Marathi as one of the subject. Preference will be given to candidates with passing government commercial certificate exam of 30 w.p.m for Marathi typing and 40 w.p.m for English typing.

Experience: Not necessary.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 28 years as on 31.08.2023, Candidates should have been born not earlier than 31.08.1995.

Emoluments: Candidates will be paid a Stipend of Rs.25,000/- per month during the Training period. After successful completion of the training period, the Trainee Clerk will be placed in the Bank’s regular grade and will be paid total emoluments of about Rs.32,000/- per month. The training period of Trainee Clerks shall be 12 months followed by probation period of 06 months. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

The Online Applications can be filled upto 09.01.2024 till 6:00 PM. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card Seven Days before the commencement of the examination.
